Treatwell alternative
A Treatwell alternative for your salon in Switzerland
Comparison
What changes between Treatwell and Napiro?
Treatwell charges from CHF 59 per month plus a CHF 199 setup fee, 0% commission on bookings for salons in French-speaking Switzerland and 2.5% plus VAT when a client pays online in advance. Napiro costs CHFÂ 39 per month or CHFÂ 390 per year, with no setup fee or commission, and 150 SMS reminders included. Treatwell remains the right choice if its marketplace brings you clients you would not have had otherwise: Napiro brings none.
Treatwell is first of all a marketplace: millions of clients look for a salon there, and the Salonized by Treatwell software comes with it. Napiro is software only, with no directory. The two do not answer the same need; this page compares what can be compared, with figures.
The same criterion on each row, the two tools side by side. Treatwell publishes its starting price, its setup fee and its commissions; SMS and trial are not mentioned.

When to keep Treatwell
When does Treatwell remain the right choice?
- 01
The marketplace brings you clients
That is what Treatwell is for: clients who do not know you find you while looking for a slot. If you are opening, moving to a new neighbourhood or have gaps in your weeks, that visibility has a value Napiro does not offer.
- 02
You want prepayments against no-shows
Treatwell collects bookings paid in advance, for 2.5% plus VAT, and pays you out every day. Napiro handles no payment: SMS and email reminders reduce absences, but nothing is prepaid.
- 03
You want a till and reviews in the same tool
Till system, product sales, sales reports and client review management are part of the Treatwell offer. Napiro stops at the calendar and client records; you keep your till.
When to choose Napiro
When is Napiro the better fit?
01
Your clients already come to you
If your calendar fills through word of mouth, Instagram and your Google listing, the marketplace brings you little and you pay for your competitors to appear next to you. With Napiro, your booking link shows only your salon.
02
You want no setup fee and no commission
Napiro costs CHFÂ 39 per month or CHFÂ 390 per year, and nothing else: no CHF 199 at the start, no payment passing through, so no commission. The trial lasts 14 days with no credit card.
03
You want SMS reminders included
150 SMS reminders per month are part of the subscription, on top of emails. Treatwellâs pricing page does not mention SMS; ask them what they cost before comparing.
Switching
How do you move from Treatwell to Napiro without losing clients?
The switch happens in parallel, during the trial: the old tool stays open until the new one has taken over.
Export your client file
Treatwell states that your data remains your companyâs property. Ask for an export of your clients (names, phones, emails); Napiro reads a CSV file and flags duplicates before creating them.
Create your Napiro page during the trial
Services, durations, prices, team and hours: allow an hour. Appointments already booked are re-entered over the following days, starting with the next two weeks.
Replace your booking link
On your website, your Google listing, Instagram and your messaging: the new link goes out instead of the Treatwell button. Your clients do not create an account, they book directly.
Tell your clients, then cancel
A message to regular clients is enough. The Treatwell plan runs for a year: check your renewal date before closing, and keep the account open as long as bookings still arrive there.

Questions
The questions we get about Treatwell
Is Napiro cheaper than Treatwell?
Over the first year, yes: Napiro costs CHFÂ 39 per month or CHFÂ 390 per year with no setup fee, Treatwell from CHF 59 per month plus a CHF 199 setup fee, prices subject to VAT. The real question lies elsewhere: how many clients does the marketplace bring you each month, and what are they worth?
Does Treatwell take a commission in Switzerland?
According to its pricing page, 0% on bookings for salons in French-speaking Switzerland, new clients included, and 2.5% plus VAT only when a client pays online in advance. Napiro handles no payment, so no commission applies.
Can I keep Treatwell for visibility and Napiro for the calendar?
Technically, the two tools do not sync, and Treatwell says on its page that it does not connect to other management systems. Keeping two calendars by hand quickly leads to double bookings; better to choose one or the other.
